Privet Hawkmoth

Thought I'd upload this image of a gorgeous 'Privet Hawkmoth',the UK's largest resident hawkmoth.There was one on my garden shed door yesterday,though not the one in the picture,and it was HUGE!!

It turned out the moth was dead However,I put him in a sandwich box and have it sealed so hopefully I might even be able to take a picture on my daughter's mobile phone.
