What, for you, is the greatest mystery in life?
For me it's how do the umpteen trillions of atoms in the universe end up in the form of suns and planets, humans and elephants, trees and oceans. I'm not talking about evolution (which looks like to tool to achieve results) but about the necessary plan or blueprints behind physical appearances. What energy causes the atoms to form via monocules into recognisable patterns?
Are thoughts created by atoms? And if not what are these and all other waves and from where and how do they stem.
These are my two greatest mysteries.

So far, nobody has been able to detect the physical "essence" of a thought.......

The mystery that there is evolution as well as something beyond the material. Evolution shows us species adapt to changes and there is no divine intervention behind it. We do not need any of that to explain the phenomenon. And yet, there's something more to life as well. So how can the two both be true? My guess is that 'God' isn't exactly a planner (which is a man made concept) but allows things to unfold naturally. But it is still a mystery.
