We are in the midst of the Chinese New Years! In some countries, this might last as long as 7-10 days or longer.
I remember one Chinese New Years that had a 200 man dragon roaming the city. It was amazing to watch the locals tease the dragon after the dragon climbed a pole in hopes of securing a money bag. The locals had attached a money bag to the top of another pole and would lean it toward the dragon, teasing it. The dragon would roar with flames coming out and the locals would launch an array of fireworks. This teasing continued for a long time. The smell of gun powder permeated the air as the air got cloudy.
An event I probably will never forget.
