That poor guy. He is frozen in time in those ridiculous pants. No one can think of him any other way.

Jimmy Buffett doing the old Harry Belafonte song "Jamaica Farewell"
While theres not a thing wrong with his current backup singers.....30 years ago when this was recorded.....he had Claudia Cummings and Katherine Maiznik (who was also a tv actress on some sitcoms in the 80's) singing backup and both these woman had amazing voices and harmonized well together.
Claudia is the black lady and Kathy Maiznik is the cute brunette.

Thank you for the song. I listened while making cinnamon roll dough. YouTube played through 3 more songs from VNV Nation as a backdrop to my meditation. Thank you, so many ideas surfaced. Lovely to feel apart.
I saw my father just after he passed, his young self, smiling over me.
