Coyotes benefit from red fox protection
A federal court has issued a preliminary ban in North Carolina against the killing of coyotes. This is because the red fox, which looks remarkably like the coyote, has been brought close to extinction as a result of hunters shooting what they thought was a coyote, and was actually a red fox. Now both have been granted a reprieve.

That's good. Saw a coyote the other day at the back of my property. I adore all wildlife. That's just how I am. I don't believe in shooting deer either. I think they are gorgeous, majestic animals. Oh and I'm a tree hugger as well. Thanks for the information.
