Holy smoke the church is burning.
I want to look at the state of the church. From opinions to facts, the church sure is interesting.

The church is a place of worship. It is a historical religious institution. It's an instrument of God. It can be worldly or spiritual. It can benefit or hurt. It can shine or be dull. The church is ambi dexterous. Multi cultured, and multiracial.

A true mark of the one religion Jesus began--1 Cor 1:10--Unity of thought( all of Gods 1 truth) no division. = a single religion, yet 34,000 of them claim to be christian. Its the one Jesus said would be hated.

I agree that a church of God , Not affected with deception, will have unity of thought, that is correct. I do not adhere to any numerical numbering of believers, John saw a number that no man can count , meaning billions upon billions. Which is universal salvation.

Billions upon billions is not accurate thinking. Jesus clearly teaches--Enter through the narrow gate, for cramped is the road that leads off into life, FEW are the ones finding it. For broad and spacious the path that leads to destruction, many have entered this way.--- A few million i would say.
All throughout the bible after the fall in Eden, 99% mislead at every given moment. The only exception would be when Israel stood strong, yet they fell over and over. Jesus compared these last days to Noahs day(99.9% mislead)Luke 17:26

In my view there is no such thing as the fall. Adam and Eve didn't fall out of Eden, they were thrown out. They did not fail, everything that happened in Eden was exactly Gods will. Those events created the need for Christ to come. That's WHY Satan was allowed inside of Eden, he did not sneak pass God, he was sent in there by God, and that's why God did not help the young couple. He knew they were no match for satan, the devil deceived Eve in seconds and Adam was not inspired to help her.
Regarding the number of humans you want in hell, I do not believe in limited atonement. There is no need for hell in my belief.

A church has teachings, largely carried out by pastors. So the beliefs and doctrines come from it's leaders. It can have deacons, Sunday school, choirs , youth department, mother's board, ladies and men's departments

Much of the knowledge production of believers has come from churches, so they have had an important role. Both true and false knowledge has been produced through this biblical medium. Yes it is Biblical. The Holy Spirit is being sent to the last church. There are 37 million churches in the world , 34,000 are Christian denominations. 380,000 churches in the USA. Catholicism is the largest branch of Christianity

Many churches of differing denominations have been helpful to humanity. I recall in my youth how the Catholic Church really helped our community by giving us clothing, food , helped pay our gas and light bills, it was and still is helpful to Detroit residents. I think that is part of being a church, helping your community. The members give of their substance and the church gives back, a healthy flow of giving.

Church and state.
The church and poitics normally don't mix, except for the Vatican, it's combined there. But in places like America it's not the norm but quickly becoming normal. Churches hold the right to discuss politics so politics holds the right to discuss church. Now they court each other and make strange bedfellows. Pastors are increasingly political, this is one way I think the church is burning.
