Hello all.

As a personal opinion--I perceive "life"as providing the opportunity to consciously experience being part of the whole interconnected and interdependent process of existence.

The process involves many wonders, much mystery, ---and therefore prompts many many questions.

As a further personal opinion---being prepared to ask the questions and being encouraged to ask the questions is a key part of the opportunity we have in being alive.

Discussion regarding possible answers is also something which is of benefit--however, our answers should perhaps be best considered as possible stepping stones rather than final destination.

I think it possible to accept being part of both the mystery and the majesty without feeling obliged to explain it or fully understand it.

After all, we are simply part of it, and as such not actually able to stand outside of it all in order to make observations about the reality of the "whole".

Our reality--again a personal opinion-- is that we and all else are part of the process which we call existence. We are inevitably and always within---but do not necessarily perceive that as our own reality, and perhaps do not wish to do so.

Seeking "God" or our true self (which is connected to the source in my experience) I think we eventually get to. But before that, I think what everybody will experience is dealing with terrible human beings. I wonder if you asked people if they have ever encountered a person who treated them bad or somehow made their life bad in some way, how many would say they never experienced such a thing?

Seems to me it is universal. I myself encounter "terrible in some way humans" everyday. So then as this is all by design by "God" why does this happen? For what purpose? What the meaning or purpose of a life living among and interacting with human beings many of which are terrible in some way or will cause harm or suffering or bad effects in some way to me or us.

I think there is a purpose to this and it is related to the meaning of this human life here on earth. I think there is a reason we will encounter others who are terrible to us in some way or make our lives worse in some way. But I think everyone will have to figure out that purpose for themselves.

The bottom line for me is probably such things exist because we do not know our true nature. Then even if one knew their true nature, they may be dependent on or stuck with others who do not know their true nature. That for me is life on earth as a human.

Everyone has a meaning a purpose, no matter how big or small.

I think our egos drive us to believe that this purpose, this meaning is going to be so life changing and wonderful providing a wholeness and new meaning to self, which it can don't get me wrong but often times it's quite opposite.

I feel the purpose of life is to grow and evolve into universal soul evolution and that the meaning of life is to learn to come to a place of unconditional love, acceptance, empathy, compassion, forgiveness and understanding. Now that's a loaded sentence, which could take many many reincarnations to achieve or should I say remember?

Your purpose is not always your career either which I think their is alot of misconception around, it can be a hobby, an act, a service or doing the work of an earth angel. Some find it early, some find it late, some think they never found it at all but yet once they cross over they come to find that being a mother whom cares for her family for example was a important life purpose after all. It's not about the size of the shoe but if the shoe fits.

It happens, of course, because of free will……and the terrible people you are seeing are, essentially, broadcasting a plea for help. I look at it this way: to feel hate and not express it is being a hypocrite…..to feel hate and express it is being truthful. They are presenting a challenge to people that are blessed. Can we trust our faith to be our brother’s keeper ? The greatest gift we can give another is to listen….they need us collectively to listen. In a perfect world there is no free will…..we all do the perfect thing. This is not our world.

As a side note I would suggest looking for beauty to alleviate your pain….even a different way of processing what you encounter……there is no joy in judgement……
