when beggars no longer knock
on the window of our car
at the traffic signal
they’ve judged
our apathy
whilst we dwell
in our comfort zone
oblivious to our demeanour
reflected in hardened facial lines

If we but cease to cling
to that that comes and goes,
simply by being still,
all’s enabled if we
surrender egoic will.

If we but cease to cling
to thought forms that appear,
we offer no anchor
to any narrowness
and are free from rancour.

If we but cease to cling
to this decaying form,
which though shaped from earth’s crust,
is being breathed by God,
we see all is but dust.

If we but cease to cling
to conditioned belief,
then we’re free from judgment,
living here breath by breath
thus, moment to moment.

Heart’s sorrow peaks just before dawn
Holding faith firm, if we but yawn
‘Tis the moment our false self dies
No need then before fear to fawn

Earth life is harsh, so our heart cries
But the lows soon transform to highs
Know oh hermit, we’re living light
Succumb not to ego spawned lies

Love aligned, imbibe bliss delight
Humming within by day and night
Choosing to soften attention
We soon garner spherical sight

Life is a dream, why take tension
Save love, nothing deserves mention
Dwell not on that that comes and goes
Assured then is soul’s ascension

Let’s check what we missed
in our to do list:
touch kind.
As a hedonist,
we merely exist,
confined.
Never by love kissed,
dark desires persist;
we’re blind.

Let us bear in mind,
it’s time we refined
our soul.
Lest we fall behind,
release thoughts unkind:
be whole.
Our form’s so designed,
God in heart’s enshrined;
our goal.

Playing our life role,
let love we extol,
assist.
Remain in control,
love has no loophole;
life’s gist.
Love doth love cajole,
reclaim joy fear stole:
bliss mist.

an old adage affirms, ‘I Am That’
perhaps a clarification is needed
‘I Am That and That is not in mind’

So drop thought, ego begot
Abiding in absolute silence
That false identity drops
Revealing eternal truth

Recognition is the key

[Unseeking Seeker]

The search for heaven took me far and wide.
I sat at the feet of many a sage
but all that they did was to point inside,
cajoling that I should turn a new page,
choosing heart over head, that soul may glide,
recognising the world as but a stage.
Enmeshed in lower mind, I was flummoxed.
It was clear I needed to be detoxed.

Knowing not the way, I peeped in within,
negating the flow of thought forms turbid
and so this is how I chose to begin,
doing not what my conscience did forbid.
It did take time but I was freed from sin,
whereupon I felt an energy grid
within my body, enlivened by bliss;
graced finally by Divine Mother’s kiss.

Wisdom of the ancients became mine
and all that I wished to know became clear.
Ceasing resisting, I chose to align
with love thereby exhuming narrow fear
but for God’s touch, I continued to pine,
although His presence always seemed so near.
I remained transfixed thus by day and night,
until I beheld God as living light.

Discontent with the way things are
we flounder about seeking joy
and to this end we strive and spar
but cavings of ego decoy,
so rudderless we drift afar.

Transfixed by diverse forms we see,
we're in a state of hypnosis;
nurturing lust, our soul's at sea.
Prayer proffers the prognosis ~
head and heart should with love agree.

Renouncing thus every excuse,
thoughts rested, we choose cessation,
succumbing not to ego’s ruse,
we align with love’s vibration;
rapture of bliss becomes our muse.

We as soul, are living light
Complete but yet an infant
Shaped by God, in His image
We reside in bliss of heaven
But as a receptor, not creator

God wishes that we be as He
So immerses us into duality
Thus from one arises polarity
That we feel by touch contrast
By ensouling this organic form

There are five sheaths that veil
Essence of our soul’s luminosity
The lower are body, prana, mind
The higher are intuition and bliss
Five veils then we need to pierce

The body has its need fed by ego
Which takes control of our mind
We then believe we’re feeble form
A state of deep hypnotic delusion
In which we remain until we die

A few among us however question
Who we truly are in actual reality
We partly know our mind and body
But oblivious to pranic magnetism
The force of God that keeps us alive

Noticing head and heart are apart
We first bring them into alignment
Head melds with heart, love stirs
Metaphorically we become empty
A witness free from all attachments

Abiding thus in thought rested calm
Devoid of thought, we yet are aware
Vibrant in agendaless exuberance
It is then that divine magnetism rises
We call it kundalini, Chi or Holy Spirit

Suffice to say we feel in the physical
Fluidic potent power enlivening form
Dormant nodes within throb with joy
Lower mind rests and intuition peaks
We tap into universal consciousness

We do nothing save shed off beliefs
Relying upon God’s energy to fill us
In timeless time we see within heart
Luminous soul’s self-existent light
Which we are but had here forgotten

The seeker who seeks being the ego
Bereft of thought forms drops away
Ego dies and we become twice born
Or we may say that the bubble bursts
Our true Self awakes within this body

Strange it is that to reclaim our light
We need to go through this undoing
For in truth all we do is simply to undo
The imaginary script our ego conjured
Yet we spend endless lives to become

Now that we are aware of soul’s truth
The purpose of earth life may begin
Which is to become fully love enabled
That we may fulfil upon earth God’s will
That we do here as He does in heaven

Now all this knowing is in the scriptures
But as long as we live in lower mind
We remain in the dark as to our origin
And since love never employs any force
We must choose to awake from the dream
