Perhaps one of the most brilliant and haunting pieces of music ever written!
Ecstacy Of Gold was originally written by famed Italian composer Ennio Morricone as part of the sound track for Italian filmmaker Sergio Leone's classic western "The Good, The bad and the Ugly and featured the vocals of tenor Suzanna Reggacci.
Morricone became famous for his penchant for using the human voice not to sing words but as a musical instrument to add layers of melody over the music.
This can be seem not only with Reggacci's part but also the choir backing the orchestra.

I just fell over laughing... my work had to “bug out” of the office and I was sent home with boxes... So, the song fit my week!

i've always loved that video! if you saw that movie the fifth element where the blue alien girl sings.... well this girl did the same song... amazing stuff! thought you may like it too

Finally! Its warm and the sun is shining on the lower Texas coast.....its blue skys accross the Gulf of Mexico as far as the eye can see!
