Wise as serpents, innocent as doves!

I had a nightmare two days ago of Muslims and extremists putting me in a gas chamber, and I was huffing as much gas as I could to die as quickly as possible.

Then people were killing each other in vicious ways, who probably would have gotten a long just fine if they sat down and interacted.

I was sad for a while after that dream.

Then last night I had a dream my face was ugly and disfigured. I think it means, (well, maybe it's just a stupid dream), but I've decided it means that I need to clean up.

The leper Naman in scripture, was told by the prophet, to dip 7 times in the river Jordan. His rotting disfigured flesh came out like the flesh of a child.

Jesus says to imitate serpents with "be wise as serpents", but we are also called to be "innocent as doves". I think innocent as doves is more precious, because there have been mass murderers who were wise as serpents.

Being the wisest serpent will earn more praises and admiration from worldly people (for scripture says essentially a serpent controls much of humanity , and serpent is the most cunning, baffling, subtle of creatures) appealing especially to those lacking in maturity or morals, but innocent as doves goes underrated, unappreciated by those without eyes to see, being innocent as doves these days is even mocked, or persecuted.

I think it might have been a factor in Joseph's brothers wanting to kill him, then selling him as a slave. That combination with jealousy.

Joseph was innocent as a dove, wise as a serpent, to the point he controlled the greatest Empire on earth, and Pharaoh, who Egyptians thought was God, told everyone in need "Go to Joseph". Joseph was a slave in prison as a criminal.

Joseph said that was good he was sold into slavery, and imprisoned on false charges. He told his guilty brothers "what you meant for evil, God meant for good".

Innocent as doves impressed God more than being wise as serpents is my thoughts. Your thoughts?

Also, Leah was the most despised bride of Jacob, unwanted by her husband, unwanted by men, unwanted by her father, and Jacob and his other wife Rachel would bully her.

This actually gained her much favor in God's eyes, not in spite of her being unwanted and despised, but because of it. Her beauty was known to him alone. The Messiah, levitical priesthood, Moses, Mary, the Papacy, the church, and most holy names and bloodlines descend from Leah, when the twelve tribes descend from four women.

The most unwanted despised bride was the most important, beautiful, favored, and impressive, but it was hidden from everyone, especially her husband, known to God alone. When the most unlikely king was selected by Samuel, scripture says "not as man sees does God see."

But yeah, innocent as doves. That is underrated, rare, less likely to impress, than being cunning, baffling, wise, or powerful as a dragon or serpent, but in God's eyes, it seems to be greater, more worth investing in, from what I gather. ;)
