Vegetarian Practice

Hello,
Ive been a vegetarian for almost 2 years. A choice i made when i got back on my spiritual path. It has helped me so much......i havent dug too deep on the science pros/cons of it, and have been following my Higher Self as my guide. In my past, I have had addictions to alcohol and some other man-made substances, and when I quit eating meat, and replesnished my soul with spiritual information, prayer, and more....I notice those cravings slowly started going away. I wont say that ive noticed any changes in my body or hair or skin, because initially it wasnt the reason for my change, yet after a while i did start to observe myself to see if i would notice any physical changes..... i dont see many changes yet aside of my hair growing long (but I dont cut it either)
And i have lost weight, because I dont drink or consume those substances any more, and now i get better rest, and am more productive and physically exert my body in proactive ways....so yeah, ive lost some weight. My temper though...that one has settled down so much more too. I went from being a hyena to being a cat. lol. I like dogs more- yet cats are interesting characters too :)
Anyhow, Im not saying that being a vegetarian fixed my life....but for me, Maria.....it was the start I personally needed in this shift Im experience. Im so thankful that I exist in a good era where I dont have to eat meat to survive, i can make do with other things. I adore animals and personally prefer not to eat anything that have breathed the breath of life (except plants) I feel more conscious of my action and choice and it creates a positive feeling inside my heart, that creates newer changes of positivity in my life....

im currently transitioning into veganism, but the letting go of the cheese has been a challenge. I notice how dairy products dont complement my bowels .hehehe. And i like eggs, i dont eat them often anymore because i dont know if the animals were harmed in the process, but I believe that eggs are good for me....so I gotta get some chickens and raise them with love so they can give me happy eggs :)

Anyhow...it was nice sharing these thoughts and a part of my life in this forum. I await an angel to communicate words of love and light with me .

Yes, cheese and eggs were also very challenging for me to let go. But, now there are plenty of cheese and egg alternatives that can be purchased in most marketplaces. They are often still not as healthy as simply going raw vegan, but they can aid with the transition.
