ancient nostalgia??

as summer ends, another fall sets in. an old feeling returns: a quietness within, nostalgic memories come back to me; some physical memories, but mostly nostalgic "feelings", not rooted in some physical event. i sense a natural "spirit" very much, through these days. i will spend more time speechless, more time "in my head"; reflecting, meditating, as i do every year at this time. when the winter has taken over, most of these "feelings" will pass; that spirit will diminish or.....?? i cannot define all of this clearly. my spirit is quite aware of the change, but my mind is not so aware. im not sad with this, just very quiet, somtimes, more unsure. all of this is more familiar than my own reflection in a mirror, more familiar than my own voice. and that is where i find comfort..............................

is this familiar to anyone??

anyone else experience a "spirit" like this?
(or mabey its simply for me....)
