You know I have perused its pages and some of it does though my grasp on the symbology is shaky at best. My main work has involved the esoteric Qabala which incorporates Egyptian systems (along with anything else you can throw at it, I am fond of the tree of life) - and Thoth is the one to invoke for a clear tarot reading. I do love my Crowley cards though I admit they are dusty at the moment.
Much of my awake path has been spent asking questions of my self (or higher self though I don't think of it as being separate from myself) and waiting for answers. I chose a blind fold early after my awakening (after devouring Castaneda, some Regardie, and assorted other metaphysical texts) out of a feeling that I needed to find answers from within before adopting ones from without. If that makes sense? Had to understand what I was carrying around inside of me by letting it rise to the surface - which meant I had to keep the pool still by not throwing anything in.
Though, now I have a hunch that it is time to switch up how I am moving along this path.
So, if you don't mind me asking, why are Ancient Egypt and Thoth important to you? *smile*

Seriously, hello again! *wave*
I've posted some over the past couple of days but I haven't really been around since the end of 2011 so I thought I'd wave and introduce myself again!
Hi, my name is VesicaPhoenix and I find myself compelled to try and be a better human being - despite my most lazy of intentions. *smile*
I intend to stick around this time - I do not find a lot of chances to discuss these subjects in my day to day life which hasn't been an issue for several years but I think its time to open up to "conversations" with others again and SF is a great place for it.
Just saying hi to all you lovely folks!
Be well.

Hello dear VesicaPhoenix!
