Healing Past Life Issues
I read that you can heal from past life memories by simply reliving such past lives, which is often associated with past-life hypnotic regression. But remembering past lives does not seem to make the pain of those lives simply go away. It does bring an understanding, to a degree, but not a healing from that life. Is there more to healing in these cases?

I dunno I've read the same things..like the young kid that was terrified of firecrackers.
Once he was quickly hypnotized and rem'd standing next to canons in the Civil War, (USA in the 1800s)...he was cured!
Go figure...or the guy that at 40 yrs old was scared of the water...hypnotized,
rem'd he drowned at 40 in a past life ...and bingo, no more phobia. (a Brian Weiss, MD story.)

If you go to a good qualified therapist who's trained in this they remove the emotional layer too. Or rather, help you do that.
But I guess that -as with everything- you'd have to be ready and willing for that. YOU have to want to let go of it, not from a mental decision, but really wish to release it at a deeper level. Difference: you may think you want to let go but if at a deeper level you are afraid to go there it won't work.
In any case, here is the story of a qualified therapist, in which she tells that emotions are dealt with too (otherwise what's the point):

QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy) I've seen several videos on the practitioners that use this method. It is very helpful to many. Check it out.
