Profile Edits

Can someone please explain the message below? I have administrated forums like this one for many years. Are a certain number of posts required to edit profiles? Perhaps I'm overlooking some type of rule? I've verified my email address, I think.

Yes in an effort to conduct good screening of new members,they are not given full control... After a couple weeks of GOOD POSTS,they are put in the reg member group....

It works well as thankfully I havent seen any spam here... (Knock on wood)

Spam usually ends up in the 'Soulmates and Twin Flames' subforum (presumably because that one has the most people viewing it, or maybe the spammers think it's populated by the most gullible people ), though I haven't seen anyone offering fake passports for a while, mercifully. When I am King, the spammers'll be the first against the wall, honestly...

(Cue a Nigerian Prince requesting credit card information, no doubt.)
