Great article
I’ve only briefly read this article you sent me and it certainly looks like a well balanced one. Have U sent it to lost soul. The reason I was asking her these questions is that when people make a statement I want to know if they have had a direct experience regarding the statement or wether they are quoting something someone else has said. I feel we have to question everything someone else has said just like the picture and quote of the Buddha that is in the attached article. Love it! Thanks a lot.

Very well put. Although I do have difficulty with 'the soul exists just in the mind' and also with 'dream reality'. Using the word 'soul' is a way of jumping over the barriers conceived in the attempt of religions to persuade us that there is something outside of reality to which has been given (for want of any other solution) the name 'supernatural'.
We, and all sentient beings, and to a much lesser degree plants and stones are all one thing or one entity (a complete togetherness) reliant upon all there is in its wholeness.
This wholeness (which for want of understanding we call the universe) has a built-in feedback mechanism in order for the wholeness /All, to see itself from and in all aspects. The active part of this feedback we call consciousness or awareness and is only interested in the now of which past and future are included in the whole.
If we are to believe modern physics it has been demonstrated - in quantum mechanics, that for anything to exist it has to observed. This is the reality of which you speak and which fulfills itself purely in the act of consciousness or of being.

I think you're right Busby,the trouble is many thing's have been made up throughout the years, differing opinions which have been made up to make us feel better, but I think that at the end of the day, you are right.

I have heard some convincing accounts of people had a death experience and who noted that their souls did go on after their death.
One seemed like he was headed to Hell prior to being pulled back into his body.
Another felt memories and worry fall away as he was headed toward a bright light.

The soul is eternal when the body dies the soul goes back to spirit.
