He didn't have to, he chose to, there's a big difference.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Do you mean that you personally don't see Him as a 'Christian' ?

Claim: Jesus was resurrected.
Fact-checked: TRUE, because He was vaccinated.

There are days when I feel the resurrection happening to me. Something very fundamental is shifting. It's very quiet, very peaceful, it makes no moves, and prefers stillness.

Why did Jesus Christ have to die, resurrect and ascend?

According to the writings of Christianity The Death,Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus Christ has everything to do with the Mission of The Holy Spirit of God.

I agree with this 100%. I grew up a Christian and still feel drawn to the religion but over the years I've expanded my view (and consciousness maybe?) so that I no longer take the Bible and what is proposed to have happened only literally and instead look at what this is saying to me on a deeper level. I think so many things can be understood symbolically regardless of appearances. There's a fascinating documentary examining the meaning of the cross and how it pertains to astrology which is well worth a look on Gaia.

Going back to the literal side, I think Utopia is right in saying Jesus didn't have to die but chose to. He felt it was his mission based on the prophecies of the Old Testament. He wanted/needed to fulfil the purpose of bringing God's love to all and showing that love is greater than suffering. And his message still reaches people today.
