Religious Wars & Conflicts: Extremist

By nature we live in a duality within the universe. In this universe everything needs a catalyst. Over the course of our history here on Earth many many people have died from fanatasism and fanatic religious people in general. A conflict or even a war can erupt over beliefs and systems of beliefs.

I do not condone or like the killing of another person of any kind no matter what it is (unless its in defense and can save your life). Humans over time have been killed by other humans and for different reasons however it is the religious extremist that have taken our personal and or collective beliefs and are killing over it or have been killed because of it...We need to respect our differences and be peaceful about our disagreements etc. Is there something not wrong with the four major religions? Do people "question" things at all instead of complying or following and or worshipping out of fear or for something else?

Why do human beings kill each other over having different beliefs?

Why do we (extremist and fanatics) turn to violence when someone doesnt agree with or talks against your current belief?

Why were the Gnostics hunted down and killed while others had to go underground or go in hiding with they're work?

All because of religion?........Before i potentially get attacked and this thread derails at me having to defend myself really think about this. I'd love to hear what you the reader thinks about this. Where is this coming from? Why are humans even getting sacrificed in the name of religious cults and sects?

Do people not see something wrong with this? Why are we clinging on to the old belief when it doesn't serve us neither as individuals or as a people? Why do human beings hold on to one particular belief instead of keeping them fluid? I know the answer to most of these questions already which in a way makes them rhetorical but i would like to know what people think and or are saying about this.

I think we ought to be careful not to confuse human qualities of fanaticism and brutality with the qualities of certain religions. While it is true that some religions are better than others, these qualities are inherent parts of human nature, religion or no religion. We are just more used to seeing these qualities in a religious setting, because most human beings are, after all, religious. But it's worth to note the non-religious versions of those qualities as well. A few historical examples:

Violent extremism:
If us humans are not forming violent, extremist religious movements, we will form violent, extremist ideological or political movements. For example: the ISIS of the 1970's was the communist Khmer Rogue. In four years they killed 25% of Cambodian population because they thought the country needed a fresh cultural-economical start:

Persecution of heretics:
If us humans are not persecuting other humans based on religion, we will persecute them based on other qualities, such as race, political ideology or economic status. For example: The equivalent for the persecution of the Gnostics is when the atheist Soviet Union decided to eliminate the class of small farmers called kulaks.

Twisting of religious ideals:
If us humans are not corrupting and twisting religious ideals into violent versions, then we will be twisting ideological or political ideologies into violent versions of the original ideas. For example, in defense of the noble ideals of humanism and democracy, the non-religious French revolutionaries in the 1700's engaged in an infamous campaign of terror and mass executions:

If we rid ourselves of religions, we will be dealing with the exact same fanaticism and brutality afterwards as well. Only in some new, non-religious forms.

Hello and thank you for responding ArcticWolf! When you say that factually some or one religion is better than another what does that mean exactly? These lower traits and qualities that you mention are not who we are at our core being and the mentioned above is something people have adopted because as you mentioned most people are religious. The four major religions all have truths in them just like in the ancient texts and in our myths however the rest is clever manipulation steering humanity in the direction in the return of the Gods and Prophecy which comes directly from them! So with the help of the religious fanatics all around the world we are helping them fullfill they're (The Overlords) own prophecies..

Prophecies do not come from Source or All that Is! No religious prophecies come from interdimensionals (ET's)! Until this is understood and accepted by the human mass consciousness we are helping them keep our souls here in the patrix! Therefore i do not subscribe to the notion that the mentioned traits above come from us.

Anyway the four major religions were created merely to keep people in groups. Its more us vs them and a divide & conquer strategy which is what they want (diversity rather than unification) and need depending on how you look at it. Polarity and separation keeps this 3-D construct intact and its also done with the help of advanced ET technology! The major belief systems all address the human soul but does not address the human spirit at all unlike gnostisism for example which is not a religion but a way of life when one couples knowledge with wisdom they gain they're own gnosis within they're lifetime which will look different and vary person to person and they live in pure spirit and let they're spirit guide them in a more or less heavily dense world! You are on the world but not of it! In gnosticism no prayer, worship, invoccations or mantras are needed!

If we rid ourselves of the four major religions as you mention it would not lead to more fanatacism! People would have had to have "woken up" (to spirit and the realization that this world is not how its suppose to be) and had enough.
The grid that surrounds our planet would break down and that would change humanities fate (an inversion) to destiny (humanities to descend even further into another version of Earth where we currently reside in the deepest part of matter)! Humans would have accepted that we are different but need to unite! We would have had enough. It would be a major change!
