I feel exactly the same way about the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses right down to the but.

When asked about certain faiths, one of my friends responded: "They live in accordance with their beliefs and it seems to make them happy." Well said. She would not say anything more.

I probably would say the same thing.

It's interesting, however, that once one examines some religions beyond the surface, things are not always as presented.

Also, when one questions in depth, contradictions often arise.

For example, the Baha'i organization proclaims equality between men and women. However, their highest body, the International House of Justice, is restricted to males. Women cannot serve in that body.

Oh yes, bumpy times, there's potholes along the path.... It's not as straight as it looks from a distance.

One of the 3 you mentioned is the Mormons. If the Book of Mormon was written in modern English and at least 100 years later, it probably would be labeled as one of the best books for people associated with the New Age Movement.

Sure Mormons have their quirks but they really do 'produce' people that are clean cut, honest and trustworthy.

Jehovah's Witnesses are another group that produce clean-cut, honest and trustworthy people.

One business I had, I had a Jehovah's Witness for a manger. He did not stay too long but he was a really good employee. He quit because he had to travel about 1 and 1/2 hours to work one way!

Talk about devotion to his family and his employer!

As for the people of the Baha'i faith, they to, have free literature. They seem to be very sociable and not pushy with their beliefs.
