In the Gospel of Barnabas, Jesus claims he is not the Messiah and that the Messiah will be coming in the future. This is a core deviation from the main teachings of Christianity. Excerpted from the 82nd Chapter of the Gospel of Barnabas, it reads :
"Jesus answered: 'I am indeed sent to the house of Israel as a prophet of salvation ; but after me shall come the Messiah, sent of God to all the world ; for whom God hath made the world. And then through all the world will God be worshipped, and mercy received, insomuch that the year of jubilee, which now cometh every hundred years, shall by the Messiah be reduced to every year in every place.'"
The Jubilee, was every 7 years and after 7 cycles (7 X 7 years), the following year (the 50th year), would be a Golden Jubilee. The Gospel of Barnabas claims erroneously, that the Jubilee came every 100 years. The Jubilees were a part of the Law and even when looked at today, was extremely liberal and progressive.

Happiness is the result of an enlightened mind whereas suffering is caused by a distorted mind.

In the 23rd chapter of The Gospel of Barnabas, a new 'pirouette' is created about circumcision. The title is "Origin of circumcision, and covenant of God with Abraham, and damnation of the uncircumcised."
In that Chapter, it is claimed circumcision began with Adam. The account reads in vivid images as:
Then said Jesus: 'Adam the first man having eaten, by fraud of Satan, the food forbidden of God in paradise, his flesh rebelled against the spirit; whereupon he swore, saying: "By God, I will cut thee!" And having broken a piece of rock, he seized his flesh to cut it with the sharp edge of the stone: whereupon he was rebuked by the angel Gabriel. And he answered: "I have sworn by God to cut it; I will never be a liar!"

The supposed Gospel of Barnabas was never mentioned by historians or the leaders of the universal church before the 16th century when it was believed to have been written, and as it is alleged to have predicted Muhammad who is noted by name and the shahadah prayer is also mentioned, it appears to be heavily influenced by Muslim belief and rejected by the Christian church as having been God inspired.

The Buddhist text Paramādibuddhatantra that deals with a King that had interactions with Buddha is sometimes used to portray the Prophet Muhammad in a very 'bad light'.
The Bhavishya Purana is also used at times to shine a 'dark light' on Muslims.

From ‘The dictionary of all Scripture and Myths.’ The Kabbala describes four Adams, the two highest of which are celestial and spiritual.
The third Adam is the terrestrial Adam, made of ‘dust,’ and placed in the Garden of Eden. This Adam was an androgene . . . . . It had, when first created a glorious simulacrum, or light body, and answers to the Yetzeeratic World, ---- Ibid., p. 418.
The fourth Adam was the Third Adam as he was after the fall, when he was clothed with animal skin, flesh and nerves, etc. This answers to the lower Nephesh and Guff, i.e. body, united. He has the power of reproduction and continuance of species, and also answers to the Aseeyatic world, but in him is some of the light of all the preceding (Adams) ----- ibid., p. 418.

Muslims love this Gospel. Gnostics, which accept almost anything, seem to be repealed from this book.

ARE THERE OTHER SACRED SCRIPTURES/BOOKS BESIDE THE BIBLE?
From which sacred book did Luke receive the information that Shelah was the son of Cainan=Kainam?

The book of Jubilees, [Chapter 8]
1 In the twenty-ninth jubilee, in the first week, [1373 A.M.] in the beginning thereof Arpachshad took to himself a wife and her name was Rasu’eja, the daughter of Susan, the daughter of Elam, and she 2 bare him a son in the third year in this week, [1375 A.M.] and he called his name Kainam. And the son grew, and his father taught him writing, and he went to seek for himself a place where he might seize for 3 himself a city. And he found a writing which former (generations) had carved on the rock, and he read what was thereon, and he transcribed it and sinned owing to it; for it contained the teaching of the Watchers in accordance with which they used to observe the omens of the sun and moon and 4 stars in all the signs of heaven. And he wrote it down and said nothing regarding it; for he was 5 afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it. And in the thirtieth jubilee, [1429 A.M.] in the second week, in the first year thereof, he took to himself a wife, and her name was Melka, the daughter of Madai, the son of Japheth, and in the fourth year [1432 A.M.] he begat a son, and 6 called his name Shelah; for he said: ’Truly I have been sent.’
Not in the Hebrew or Roman scriptures.
PBUyou John.
