Interesting information on the bear.

Animal signs can often come in a language unique to you, although I am sure that there is a reason you were drawn to this particular interpretation. I often like to return to Animal Speak by Ted Andrew’s for this type of thing. The book contains a wealth of knowledge about the meaning of animal signs generally, as well as a large library of specific animals that is not only comprehensive but well considered. When I am in doubt, I go there, and am often inspired by specific aspects of that animals behavior or mythology.

It is interesting that you believe you are swinging towards the feminine. I think it is a wonderful practice to honor both the feminine and masculine within us, and would even go so far to say that for many of us the feminine needs healing. One of my teachers once said that she believed shamanism was a very feminine approach to spirituality. Just good for thought.

Got the book. Learnt more about them . Interesting learning about how they survive and the message of being not too critical. Then the association with trees which serve as a reminder. I'm watching His Dark Materials at the moment, which has armoured bears...

Oh! I forgot I had a large tumble of Septarium in my collection too. So I've been keeping that and my bear carving to hand.

Today has been a musical day. Only a short walk as I want to rest more.

It's good to remember within and the external ~ both ways. One of my old house plants is looking really good at the moment. I don't really have space for it to take it back home.

Think I'll fill my bowl before emptying it and burning some sage.
