VESAK: IMPORTANT BUDDHIST HOLIDAY

VESAK is an important Buddhist holiday that commemorates the birth, the death and the day of enlightenment for the current Buddha.

It is celebrated on various days depending on the country, etc.

For me, it is a time of reflection.

Sounds good, the things I’ve learned about myself during reflection are priceless.

The many months of Covid lock down was on propose, among other things, a long period for us to self reflect.

It was a global quiet time for us to think about what is truly important in our lives. To find something better and more benevolent than just constantly hoarding more and making more money to support the hoarding.

Just one of many opportunities for us to decide with absolute certainty as to what we want and don’t want moving forward to better times ahead. Towards a new era in which the new normal will be more caring, kindness, compassion, tolerance, equality, honesty, integrity, cooperation, and unity under the big umbrella of love.
