The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.
Moldova left the commonwealth and Ukraine started the process of joining but never finished the ratifying process.
Almost 240 million people are part of the CIS.

In the CIS countries, it was number one at the box office last week.
Hard to believe, in the West it is not even mentioned.
Being that some of the movie was filmed on the International Space Station, it should have gotten a merit mention but it didn't even get that. Sad.

But then, ask somebody if they ever seen the International Space Station fly over...... the answer I have always gotten was "no".
One time, one of the space shuttles flew over the city where I live at a very low altitude (on the back of I think it was a 747)...... most people didn't go outside to see it.
