Having some background in this sort of thing, the way biology works is very complex and it has it's own ways of balancing everything out and maintain stasis. There aren't any 'hacks' for that, and drugs that are powerful enough to do something significant also have deleterious side effects.

Good nutrition along with a bit of strenuous activity is the ticket.

Leaving here doesn't automatically mean that you graduated. Do you know why you are here now? What are you supposed to do, learn, accomplish here and now?
Maybe so, but Earth is a short time, not a long time experience. Some will have to return, and some graduate and move onward and upward.

Yes to feel and live Better. Almost every time I talk to a new person on the phone or in person, they comment on how young I sound....I know it's the added HGH homeopathic gel I started with a couple yrs ago and the Grape Seed Extract I've been taking for decades.....

My parents lived into their 90's so I know there is longevity but they and especially dad was so ready to go at 95.

They were outliving their money to keep them going. Hope that's not me...

Gem you're right about drugs. I have been working with a clinic that specializes in longevity medicine since I was 47 (60 now) One of the first things a very good Doc will tell you (and these are some of the best) is that there is NO SUCH THING as a drug that does not have some sort of side effect regardless of how seemingly benign that side effect might be.

That's not necessarily true.

There are in fact blood tests to determine biological age (Epigenetic Aging test) that is based on the research of Doctor Steven Horvath (see Horvath clock)

https://www.mydnage.com/

When I first started working with the anti-aging clinic I have worked with since the age of 47 (I'm 60 now) testing had me at an epigenetic age of 45.

Since beginning the program, bi-annual blood work shows that I have slowly reversed my epigenetic age and at 60 my most recent blood work has me at 39 and it is still slowly coming down.

My doc says that based on both this and DNA research into both sides of my family tree that his best current estimate for my lifespan is 130 years.

By the way, working with this sort of clinic is not inexpensive.

I'm spending about $25 to 30K per year on the clinic, bloodwork, supplements and hormone replacement.

The first thing to know is everyone is going to get old and die, but the probability or severity of old age frailty can be reduced with proper nutrition and activity. The younger one starts, the more effective it is. Even if you don't get on track til later in life, many of the processes which we might call 'aging', like losing lean mass and organ function and some types off illness, can be slowed down considerably or even completely arrested, and some areas can be reversed. Ultimately, time is going to win, and 100% sure you will die, so we're looking for a high quality of life, and not trying to cling to living. Nutrition and activity are the primary determinants and account for like 95% or whatever. Other interventions such as HRT are more like refinements for the last 5%, and are not effective if the basics are not there. I have thought about getting HRT and maybe even some other sort of steroid just to retain lean mass and be jacked as hell even when I'm 80. That has to be medically suppervised, not shots I buy in a gym locker room. That's what I'd call an enhancement. It may help but it is not necessary - whereas nutrition and activity is.

People tend to want little hacks, like a 'the secret' which few know, and if you look into these 'health' products, that's what they are selling, 'the secret to your success', and it's a lie. Indeed most exercise and nutrition gurus are running a scam

There is no secret. Everyone already knows, good health is a consequence of what you eat and what you do. That's how it's done. Before you start saying, not for everyone, what about ailments and the rest of it? Firstly, we don't include anomalies in generalisations, and secondly, literally anyone at all will improve their health and overall quality and length of life by eating really well and engaging in appropriate physical activity.
