Old friend with a name
Like death
Don’t come near me
Don’t peer into my field
At best you are a
Patriotic invention
A carrier for war
And your name
Is just an excuse
For violent death
Itself
Which is
Something different
Than the Death
I’m speaking about
A violent blowing
Out of a life
Conceived in love
Or at least in lust
Which is slightly
Better than what you
Can conceive
Warlord.
