Hi there, I'm new to the site and have been comparing two bracelets that I own which both claim to have howlite beads. One was labelled lava stone and howlite/white turquoise and the other was sold as apatite, sodalite and howlite.
In normal light the howlite beads look pretty similar, but under a UV light most of the howlite beads on the trio bracelet (except one) shine brightly, like paper etc.
They must be different, are these beads that are lighting up actually resin or coloured glass perhaps? I've heard that some stones fluoresce under UV, but probably not like this.
If they are fake should I be questioning the sodalite and apatite too?
Thank you for any help or suggestions!
