Shouldn't thought forms be imprinted on precious stones?

Hi, I found this particular note in some very old notes:
"Precious or semi-precious gems must be purified and recharged, thought forms must not be imprinted."

I don't remember where I read or learned it from, what do you think?
Is the statement right?

Does anyone imprint thought forms on gems with good results?

Some would say yes its true others would say its not so.
you can imprint your Energy onto crystals, That is why you cleanse them some do it by dipping them in water letting them dry on a window sill, for myself I smudge them

We need to cleanse any negatively through prior handling away from the crystal in order that we can put our own energy through it for the highest intention.

I suppose you mean programming crystals?
I'm not a fan of that.
If I occasionally do that I also program a time duration, and it's never long. So I tell it to keep the program going for 1 week or 1 month, maybe 2, and to then let it go.
Problem with programming is that you forget about it and later on possibly put another program on top of it. That way the energy of the crystal get all jumbled up. I've had that with a larger crystal, several programs on it and the energy was all over the place.
I hadn't done that programming btw. A friend of mine removed the whole lot for me as at the time I wasn't so experienced myself yet.

In a way if you program you have to journal which program you put on what crystal so you can always look it up. I never heard of anyone doing that.

As for more average thought forms, not programs... these can automatically be picked up by anything and everything, from furniture to paintings to crystals. That's why the occasional cleansing is good, certainly if you get 2nd hand things in, incl. clothes & furniture & crystals etc. etc.
