Stuck!

For years I have dreamt of returning to the lands where I am happiest, where I find Joy in Existing, peace in the land and sea scapes, and companionship in the friendly people and the social gatherings they organise

But instead I am stuck due to political events in a dreary large city with poor damp weather, and people who are far to busy to make meaningful companionship

I have been “stuck” for a good few years now, and at 64 need to move on.

I don’t want to live with this perpetual irritant, I want the joy in life I have when the sun shines..

How do I engage with life’s lessons either to find peace where I am at, or physically move to more hospitable climes

I am totally at a loss (but far from despondent, I am happy #despiteeverything) as to how to live life to its fullness….

any observations are more than welcome! (for relationship reasons I can’t just pack my bags and move!)

or am I stuck in a pseudo happy place with the sure knowledge there are better places for me to be
