This sounds like the beginning of an OBE. Does the jolt go through your spine, from bottom to top?

Thank you for replying.
I initially feel it in my spine then arms and legs do a wavy, jerky dance!...all this in a matter of a split second, but very, very intense.

You might also research kundalini. It may not apply, but maybe it will.
