OK that's good. You sound much more settled too.

Sometimes it can be tempting to go for 'supernatural abilities', and that leads to giving a great deal of importance on the third eye or some other thing... and as you noticed... it becomes problematic.

This is a pure and holy thing... and attention should remain on only the purest intentions. It is a purification process so as to allow the 'grace' to flow freely through in a form of love... and a famous person once said, 'Meditation is the flowering of love'

Dawn1976- I went through my kundalini awakening about 2 years ago. This was a forced awakening without the use of any guidance or guru's. I cant tell you from my own experience that if you are not ready, the energy can almost kill you. I struggled for a year to maintain my health mental and physical.
The reason it was so hard was because my body and way of life was so toxic and kundilini forced me to change, it wasnt easy. Now that its over i am ever so grate-full. It showed me so many things not many people of the west no exist.

So yes it can have negative effects, but only if you do not respect the prana.
The awakening has some challenges, but reward far out ways the challenges you face.

I highly recommend awakening your kundalini, just do it the right way and take your time. Do your research and make sure you know what your getting into because theirs no going back!
