Accidentally astral travel

I had no intentions to astral project as I had things on my plate

But I think it just happened

I think I astral traveled and saw a long term friend of mine. This person isn't someone exactly very close to me but I knew him since 2006 and we do keep in touch on social media. I had no intention before this to know much about his personal space, but I was at some event that involved him and other people I don't know. I mainly saw a big event and some huge house

I don't think he was entirely aware of my presence. I hope I was not intruding, it feels like perhaps I accidentally astral traveled to where he was for some reason? As I said I'm not that close to this person and I was never curious about the deeper in's and out's of this person's life although I would term him a "long term friend / acquaintance" due to knowing each other since 2006 and still being in touch

How does one ensure not to accidentally astral travel or remote view like that again? As I certainly would not want to unnecessarily intrude

Can accidental ap happen like that?

Yes it can. I have ap all over the place and end up anywhere. I do not seem to have any control over it.

What I meant was I hope I wasn't trespassing my friend's privacy. I could ask him but he might get weirded out by it esp that we are not that close

Still it's been a surreal experience and I wonder if I would accidentally astral travel again

We all astral travel at night when we sleep. It's not something you can stop. And when we're astral, energy follows thought. Think of someone and BAM you're there! So this person may have been thinking of you and initiated the experience as easily as you could have.

I have an old ex that I have not seen or talked to in over 20 years, but we have had many lifetimes together. He'll show up occasionally in dreams and I'm pretty sure they're astral visits because they're so vivid.

It's interesting about your ex and him visiting you in the dream / astral plane. It certainly can be from you sharing lifetimes with him

In my case, I accidentally visited but I'm not even that close to this person. Just knew him as a platonic friend for a very long time

But perhaps there was a reason for it

I had been trying to break away from a certain confusion fog and then I was just given reminders about friends in both the astral and dream realm, perhaps a divine reminder about my good memories and the warmth I had

Perhaps I should set intentions to be able to ap again
