These are hard words to read and understand from John.
Many left because of these words in John 6:56.
John gives us many hard things to think on.
That is why I can only be sure in the Love of God, which John speaks of plenty.
It is in the Love of God and the Spirit of God I place my faith and trust. |

For people who understand/understood Jesus, these scriptures bring a nod of approval. But then there are some people who are like some of the Jewish leaders who objected to virtually everything Jesus and his followers said.
The difference is his followers is that they understood what was being said whereas it went 'over the heads' of the others.

Jesus was not the sin offering. He was the passover lamb. His sacrifice was for the redemption of the first born (Adam).

As for Jesus being the 'perfect' Passover Lamb, that probably is a little too deep for many to understand.

Hep., your in the world, and you seem to have a problem with the Lord's sayings about the world being evil.
Or, perhaps you don't believe He said that even though He made it clear.
As well as He saying that if the world hates you, remember, He said, it hated me first.
He made it a point that there is a contrast between the world, and Heaven.
Also that the devil is the god of this world.
I had explained why.
What evades you?
All the disciples also were martyred too.

So, I had explained why we are in this organic, animal/ mammal form, and how it is illusory, and a lie.
So again one may go to Leviticus 17:11 and see the connection.
And, John the Baptist, the return of Elijah according to what Jesus said; he didn't declare that Jesus was, "the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world"?
The son of the world is our evolved, animal/ mammal form with it's survival instinct.
The cause of all misery on the planet.
