Question Sadhguru scam?

I've read up a lot that he scams people and hypnotizes them. As well as his ISHA foundation apparently is a cult. In summary, he doesn't actually believe in a God, and when asked any question he talks nonsense and never answers the question. There may be some black magic/worshiping deity going on...who knows.

Although a lot of his philosophy matches with mine which is annoying if he really is a scandal.

What do you think?

Smile Ride the life wave

I am a loyal follower of Sadhguru's teachings but I promise this response will be un-biased lol :)

There's no 100% way to determine what goes on behind closed doors with Sadhguru and the foundation. Weather he worships evil entities or believes nothing, is irrelevant. The perspective that he shares is without question the only thing you should consider. If you have any doubts in his arterial motifs.. then simply choose to not DONATE money to his cause. Bottom line is to take in his teachings with utmost peace and all will be well. Also consider that he is a very famous guru at this point and nay sayers WILL come forward to lay waste to his being.

Take care :)

Also.. He is a firm believer of "activating your third eye".. the evil entities of the world WANT you to stay being a "sheep". They do not want us to be enlightened.. that fact alone persuades me to side WITH Sadhguru

Yes he's quite funny in that video.
But, l have no idea about the organisation or sadguru. Usually, lf you feel uncomfortable with a guru it's best to keep clear. The guru might be alright, but perhaps he's not for you..or a charlatan..
Without a Higher Vision you can't be sure..

I feel that he is genuine. I had got some insightful points from his writings.

He is very earnest about planting trees and so on. He holds a Guiness record for the most number of saplings planted in three days.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_GreenHands

Some interesting, perceptive and motivating teachings of his in this regard....

"Trees are our closest relatives. What we exhale, they inhale. This is a constant relationship that no one can afford to live without.

Every society needs individuals who go on planting mango trees without thinking whether they would get to eat the fruit or not.

Sadghuru is the antichrist. He eats little children with salt & pepper and laughs after that holding his belly with his hands throwing his head back his neck. Now that I said it - do you believe it? There is gossip for every kind of significant famous person. Having said that in the context you provided, I don't find any need to discuss that in more detail.

If you really want to find out, just go there and try him and you will know what you need to know, especially if you are fully open to reality in total. If you feel attracted go for it, you may not know why, the attraction is the reason coming out of yourself not out of the consideration what is good for you. If you are not attracted don't go for it. Why make it harder than that? If there is no real consideration, then you are just interested into the gossip :-)

I took the Sadhguru webinar a few weeks ago, and watched some of his interviews on YouTube. My impression was that the ISHA foundation was quite genuine. As well, from the interviews I've seen, he doesn't avoid questions by talking nonsense. The webinar was free and at the end they offered a full course for $150, which doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
