Strange energy exchange with medium sales clerk, what happened?

Seeking some input with a strange yet, interesting experience. I went to a local spiritual shop the other day. It's a great place, tons of spiritual products. I asked a question to the sales clerk girl who is a strong spiritualist and owns spiritual products herself and something really strange happened. When I looked at her, I felt a strong white fog of energy that hit me. It wasn;t bad, but I know she felt it too. She paused when was speaking because it hit her too. I felt a rush of energy through my body. It was very powerful.After she answered my question, she smiled and left. I was holding a bottle of protection oil and a sage stick. It wasn't a bad thing at all, it was just the strangest thing! What do you think happened?! We both felt it.
