Pope Francis admits animals have immortal Souls
....For how else could one get into "Heaven"?
http://www.inquisitr.com/1657599/pop...-go-to-heaven/
This, we may all already know. But it is good that the Catholic religion now takes the issue of animals' Souls seriously. It warms my heart actually.

Yes that is nice, but it's abit silly the way somebody needs to be told this.
We are all made of the same stuff.
What if he disagreed with animals having souls, people would just agree with that.
Hes no different from the rest of us.

Yes I know. I don't particularly need that 'seal of approval' and neither do you. But it's amazing how many people are guided by such statements, and though they are just followers of doctrine, it's at least a step forward which may bring many people to think a little more thoroughly about animal welfare.
Well....we hope so anyway....
I am not a Catholic. But for many Catholics, they take the Pope's words very seriously. There are millions of Catholics in the world.
To my view, this is a good step in the right direction.
It makes me wonder if Pope Francis has had his own personal experiences, to say this......

Yes, hopefully.
It probably will with those who follow such things passionately.

That is heartening news, though a little late .... An awful lot of innocent blood has been shed down through the centuries because this great truth of animal ensoulment was usurped from Scripture.
Let us hope this message does indeed filter through.

It was, not me, but our dear friend Tobi who posted it - and beat us both to it!

....And I presume it was usurped from scripture just so humans could continue to imprison, kill, and eat animals without having to worry too much about it......

HI
animals are messengers of spirit, as least that is what happens when i write the power animals.:) x Spirit has many ways of communicating with us. They could teach humans how to love unconditionally! Dogs love the owner no matter what, they don't judge, they love and all they ask in return is to be fed, walked and shown some affection, simple really :)
