Gold and Turquoise are usually associated with mediumship. Purple is associated with religion and the darker the shade the more religious bordering on obsession.

Dark Blue or Blue is all about trust or depression depending on where it is seen.

I appreciate it but sadly none of it is helpful it just doesn't sound one bit comparable to me or my life. I do hope I can discover the meaning of this color someday as it has appeared after I have gone back to University and changed my life and plans and confronted what is plaguing my home.

If you highlight it, it's legible.

On Phrizbie Design website(phrizbie-design.com/aura-chart.html), dark blue means angelic protection, it has quite a few shades described, perhaps something might resonate with you, or point you in a proper direction....

Although I do think at times, the dark/muddy colors signify fear, etc.

I think there is another facet we are forgetting, black can be pure, this black represents protection.

For example, I have a rather negative relative, she would brag about the "art" of destroying the inner light. (She liked to tell me at length on her techniques and such) One of the best protections I had against her as a child was using a cloak to hide the brightness of one's light. I eventually learned other methods of self-protection as well as how to use the assitence of higher beings, but what I'm trying to say is that.....dark doesn't always mean bad, what about clarity, texture, warmth, etc.

Depending on the exact tone and brightness, seeing as you had turquoise in your aura before, the dark whine color you saw can simply be just one of the other aspects of turquoise (it has 3) the energies have the same position in space, but vastly different properties (not better or worse, just different).

Simplified temperature; The root is warming, Solar plexus is heating, Thymus/Throat cooling, Brow/Crown freezing.
