Why would you open the third eye? What does it bring you?

the idea of opening up the third eye is to open up one clairvoyance so the person can see further into the realities.
basically by working on that,, you open up your third eye , and extra ears so you get more mental images that leads to visions, and hear more insights like a quick whisper for some.

I think the third eye should be done in conjunction with the crown center, nay,, all the chakras at once so you grow in balance .

it all depends on what visualizations you use, and method you use.
I remember one week I got sick for it felt like I over open my crown center and third eye. so I had to take a break from it and let my body recover.
so it is possible to overdo.
