An electrical tuned circuit comprising a capacitor and inductor (coil) seems to draw energy from the grid dip meter when they're both tuned to the same frequency. The capacitor is variable so the circuit can be tuned or detuned relative to the grid dip meter. When energized the capacitor has an electric field associated with it and the coil has a magnetic field associated with it. There are analogies between mechanical and electric or electromagnetic systems. Electric fields appear to have elastic properties and magnetic fields seem to have inertial properties.
In a mass spring system, the mass has inertial properties and the spring has elastic properities.

In pre-Einsteinian physics its believed that light and other electromagnetic waves have a transmitting medium traditionally known as the luminiferous or electromagnetic aether. The concept of an aether was first theorized by ancient Greek philosophers and acted as a transmitting medium among other things. Christiaan Huygens's Treatise on Light (1690) hypothesized that light is a wave propagating through an aether. The official belief in physics now is that the aether doesn't exist, but some believe that it does exist. It was theorized also that atoms are made from the aether. Is it possible that spirits and the spirit world are also made from the aether, ie. everything observable is basically waves in the aether? Atoms as we known them are made up of fermions and photons and neutrinos are bosons. Fermions have rest mass and bosons don't . Maybe the wave/particles of the spirit world are made of some kind of boson type particles.
