About a decade ago, a woman named Brene Brown became famous for her book about vulnerability. If you don't know about her, This TED talk is amazing, funny and very entertaining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCvmsMzlF7o

You provided your definition: "Definition:- the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally."

Your definition is subjective, because whether the subject or object perceives it, it is still opinion until it is exploited.

I have no interest in arguing over definitions. But keep in mind that words have not only definitions, they have frequencies.

Yes, I did...refusing to harden the heart exposes one to the possibility of being harmed emotionally. This to have deeper empathy towards others.
You called this love.
Fine.

The definition given is NOT subjective! I just googled 'vulnerable' and this came up...
'exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally.'

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
