The only thing that makes our affirmations/thoughts positive is how it is compared to its polar opposite (negative).
Is this an issue? Or not?
Im finding it quite difficult to explain. But hopefully someone understands.
Thanks.

Hi TonySG, ha! I just ran into you in the dream section. Hi again! Anyways, Teal Swan has a YouTube post that addresses exactly what you are talking about. I really think you'll like it, the title is "The Common Pitfalls of Manifestation". She addresses the negative thoughts issue that you are inquiring about.
I also host a manifestion group. We do a meditation/visualization exercise prior to starting the meeting in which we acknowledge that negative thoughts are natural and acceptable; however, prior to manifesting, we cleanse ourselves of these negative thoughts and "send these thoughts elsewhere where their energy can be better used." We use this statement in our exercise because we believe that there is a balance (positive/negative energies) that does naturally exist in all of us and we believe that somewhere that negative energy can be better used. We do this, so that the meetings only harvest positive thoughts/manifestations.
You also should read up on Edgar Cayce's thoughts on the Law of Attraction and the Law of Repulsion which also addresses this balance that you are exploring. I hope this helps.
