Most of the time, yes. Back in the sixties there was a common advert on TV. "Say it with flowers" was the tag line. So one day when she wouldn't shut up I took her to the nearest florist and when inside I said "now will you please shut your pie hole?" And then we went on a ten day Alaska cruise and were friends again.

Haha, an interesting talk ever.... but personally i have never experience all this because my husband is so polite and in another word he has a dual personalities in front of me he is so childish and he never make argues with me he use to do listen to me and if something disturbing him and something he didn't like, start crying...LOL...but when its about something else then i have seen him a complete tough boy haha...and yup he is too nice to me, what do you think this kind of a relationship is? isn't it a perfect husband wife relationship?

Aiken. In my opinion, no it isn’t a perfect husband and wife relationship.
A grown man crying when you say something that disturbs him seems pretty abnormal to me.
Just my opinion tho.

So presumably you would find it equally abnormal if a grown woman cries when her partner says something which disturbs her???
Peace

You should start writing heartfelt letters to one another. Once a week? Once a month? You two can set the perimeters. And as MH suggested use the "I" rather than "you" narrative. I like to use my life experiences as examples rather than lashing out to the other person. I talk about how I felt. That takes the heat off.

Iamthat. Yes you have a good point and normally I would not have written that but I was specifically referring to Aikens comments.
From what she has written I feel her husband is using crying to manipulate her instead of crying about a particular incident that genuinely distressed him.
