Well, yeah, I want somebody to get it if I don't dig it up and take out a bundle here and there, as I live longer.
I don't need a new car or anything else..but it's there if I need it ...and others can have it when I'm gone...
they can have my house, too, that's all paid for!....with a full apartment I built onto it.

I think it's a fun idea and hysterical to try to remember
where you left money for another incarnation!

Indeed he would! Perhaps skyman in his next incarnation could sue the construction guy for the return of his money. That would be an interesting court case.

But they may soon be a relic of the past...... I've just returned home after spending a windy, wet morning in our local mall where store after store - all HUGE ones even by US standards - look like they're on their last legs.

Stock levels now warrant a store half the size and goods are no longer priced-to-go. One of the many things we used to enjoy when snowbirding was rooting through bargain rails looking for keenly-priced bargains from the previous season to later take home for our continuing cold weather.

Now that's all changed and bargains are few and far-between, several big stores likely to close with their employees consequently looking for work. This has been a tough couple of pandemic years following a general slow-down of the economy.
