A Little Piece of the Puzzle

October 2014:
I'm starting a space for me in this section of SF
SF therapy hahaha.

The poetry section seemed most fitting
A very public, private space hahhaha.

Its a public, private journal of ramblings because I often feel very confused about alot of things.

I am trying to gently nudge myself away from what feels like the beginning of depression...
so this space will hopefully serve a few purposes throughout the process.



Woven together
With yarn sourced from
Different experience's...
Paterns inspired by different influences
all brought together and sewn into the fabrics of life ..
A million different threads pulled together... entwined
In an experiment created through time.

Courage
Sometimes arrives quietly
In a silent march
To meet with us.

Courage comes
With no bells and whistles
And receives no honorary parade...
It presents itself in its truest form...
it has no use for intricate rituals
Or fancy facades.


Courage can be invited
And when it comes
It makes no fuss...
It makes no demands...
it just sits with us.

Courage will wait with us...
Forever patient...
And hold our hand
As we take
Our next grand
Leap of fate.

I wished upon a comet
In the sky flying past me
Faster than my head could keep count...
Quicker than my mind could understand...
Just what this moment meant.

I peered up at the horizon
Just as the sun set...
In my heart feeling blessed
At just what this moment meant.

I stared into her eye's
At that moment I felt surprised...
By what I recognised...
As what I saw inside
Was an instant light ignite.

I wept under the glow of the moon...
The love I felt consumed...
Me as I lay in this gently illuminated room...
Pouring my blessings out to you.


I soar through the clouds...
As my feelings of love abound...
Engulfed in this feeling which surrounds...

Please... world...
Don't bring me down.

Flaws and all...
When I feel teeny, tiny... very, very small
And when my attitude of ego
Marches about feeling very, very...
Superior and tall

You adore me
More then I can comprehend...
And like a Labrador...
Your loyal till the end...

You adore me...
No matter what turmoil befalls me...
You adore me
No matter what darkness consumes me
You adore me
completely. ..
Flaws... faults...and all...you see is perfection...
You adore me...
You have from the very beginning...

your admiration. .. for me never ceases.

ah yes.

Feeling grateful but quite emotional.

in the past I have numbed and isolated myself (as is quite common with depression)...
This time I have reached out to the community in a big way.

I have decided that it is ok to live passionately.

The sun is very sunny today...
Even when
The storm clouds never roll away...
They remain tucked away...
in the corner
Somefimes their power takes centre stage...
But they are never ashamed
To be storm clouds...
Just as the sun never shies away
From shining...
The clouds never need to go into hiding...

The sun is very sunny today...
The moon is delightful by night
The storm is just as perfect... in its own right.

Yes I am working alongside a few at present in my work here who are facing similar to you and in view of what you doing for you, you are showing great courage as a model in this way..I am learning through them the hardship in letting go fully and staying connected..
