Question about english language
Thinking that:
"I am, you are, all these beautiful things are."
-
How do you call the above practice?
Awareness?, mindfulness? something else?
Thanks!
Cheers,

This doesn't explain the benefit of the practice.
It is a kind of awakening/enlightenment. When I practice "I am, you are, all this beauty is", I am in awe of the universe because I have no idea how the universe, including me and you, is. This way I awaken. The more I practice, the more I awaken. The state of being in awe can be cultivated, and brings more and more joy. Everyday is the best day of my life.
I hope I've made myself clear.
Thanks!

You believe that that mantra will awaken you, hence when you do it you feel awakening, in the way you think awakening is.
You can call it self-suggestion. There's nothing wrong with that. But, it doesn't mean it is what other people believe awakening to be, which doesn't say that their definition of awakening is universally correct.

The benefit of being present with whatever is is simply being present with whatever is.
In other words, living without resistance, flowing with each moment.
And to be fair, the original post did not provide much information to go on.
But I am pleased that you have found a practice which works for you.
Peace

Thanks inavalan, iamthat! I will think about this.
From your answers I learned that this practice is not well known, which is surprising to me.

The closest thing to I am I got is with my twin flame the nearest thing you can explain it as my I’m — we’ve reincarnated as one...

I think a lot of people do similar things; with similar, but diff words that's all...
from what I've read in the Affirmations Section.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

Yes, but usually "affirmations" point to some intention. "I am, you are, all these beautiful things are." is kind of a self-hypnosis mantra.
