I'm interjecting my take: This statement is not true. Why?
Because of the word 'only'...it disallows Grace.
This statement is easy to say when one has not exp the miracle of Grace...
thinking effort and discipline alone are what matter.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

All that is, is grace, is it not? Each breath, every heartbeat, sentience enabling feeling of aliveness in form which is but dust.

It seems as if you have found the answer you are looking for. I would humbly offer another option. Processes are made by humans. They have found a way and created a process for their followers.

There is a way of no process. It is not a man's way. It is a way born of love between a creator and its creation. There is no time involved, because realization only takes a moment and a choice.

Many lifetimes are not required, but you may choose to take that route.

The gross body, subtle body, and casual body are labels you employ from a process created by man. Man likes to divide and categorize. Spirit likes to keep everything together. But to be understood, I will elucidate.

There is only the casual body. All else stems from that as an illusory manifestation. You are not a gross or subtle body(ies). As long as you continue to identify as such, you continue to seek guidance from such about such. And you may continue to make advancements albeit very slowly.

On the other hand, you may and are invited to skip thousands of reincarnations and get right to the point of understanding who you really are, which can be done in a moment.

That moment is the realization of truth. And it is not earned. It is a gift of grace.

Blessings,
Z

God's Grace unto me, is meeting a Sadhguru and realizing the Truth through Guru's words. Guru's guidance to show me what action is required to be done through me, is God's Grace I feel.
Every other action I feel as a God's blessings to fulfill my ignorance-desires, reward the efforts/actions/Karma.

I see, God's Grace can be experienced by me, only when the mind is totally empty like a pond to receive Pure Water. God's Grace is not a reward for being righteous like Blessings, I feel. Experiencing Blessings can happen with worldly desires Mind as a reward of one's action, but to experience Grace is not by any action/living but by Pure/Empty Mind seriously needing only God and none other.

And so, I feel, God's Grace not yet and every experiences I had is His Blessings upon my desires-actions.
