A Little About the Purpose of Life

In a simple declarative sentence the purpose of (human) life is to gain wisdom, all that the Earth can teach us.

Human souls are born (created) on their own plane in a state of innocence. The journey begins. Through the application of knowledge they will become wise. And then they will be ready to “ascend” to the post human stage of spiritual evolution. It is true that one can learn everything that is needed while yet in the spiritual realms (heavens) but this is insufficient. It is not knowledge that frees us but wisdom and wisdom is the child of experience. In the heavens it is not possible for souls to associate for very long with others of differing positions in growth… We can learn but we are hard pressed to gain through experience. So we come to a physical world. On a planet such as this one it is possible to meet and overcome adversity. This is the mechanism which produces the needed wisdom. This is the path to freedom (ascension). This is the immediate purpose of human life on a world. I say immediate. This truly is only an introduction to a much broader landscape.

There is much more to this story as we might well imagine. In essence though the above says it all.

Wisdom has degrees, worldly wisdom and spiritual wisdom.

A child has a child's wisdom, a clear uncluttered view. The complexities of life can't be ignored and must be dealt with in a lifetime of learning.

I agree and later it is all combined into a synthesis of consciousness out of which a door is presented.

Might we consider that the end of our life takes us to the doorway of oneness through which we could have chosen to pass whilst alive?

It is possible but here are two thoughts. 1. Oneness is a relative concept (it is perceived according to our ability to know it (consciousness)). 2. "Doors" of opportunity must needs be presented to the aspirant while she or he is yet incarnated. There are two thoughts here. 1. While incarnated we develop a stronger will. 2. Application of Will from the physical plane produces two results. 1. That which is sought is found. 2. That which is envisioned becomes manifest.

Within the above reasoning much regarding the Earth's spiritual evolutionary methods is revealed. Consider the Master Jesus when he was on Earth. In the desert He struggled with his lower self and overcame. This would not have been so profound had He do so from His native spiritual plane. Later He, again using Will, set aside the cries of the lower self and allowed Himself to be crucified. Again this was a more powerful and enduring action because it was accomplished on the lower physical plane.

If, at the moment of our death, we find a doorway before us what will we do? The correct answer is the one which confirms purpose. Step through or not??? No matter our decision the new pathways presented will require we return to the Earth... for more work.

Some say that this continues until we achieve Mastery. I think rather that Master souls continue and are more involved with such things than ever before.

If you agree perhaps the proper course of action is to proceed "as if" while attempting to remain selfless.

Hello all-Bartholomew.

The thoughts coming to me are simple I think. Not the product of intellect but of feeling, and I believe not requiring of intellect in order to share that feeling.--I cannot be sure.

The door, the gate, seem symbols of transition.

In reference to the transition which we are attempting to describe here, we may likely each have our own manner of making that attempt.

I feel that it is transition from form to process. From who to how, noun to verb. Lover to loving.

Surely Earth is but one option, of many, dear bartholomew? (?)

The purpose of human, biological life, ---along with that of other animals and beyond that of the other animals-- is the purpose we humans choose to apply subjectively to it via our access to Metaphysical-1 { Spirit-1 }, mind/intellect/concepts.

Universe has no purpose other than the purpose humans want to apply to it.

The purpose of biological life in general is to exhibit the possibility of simple to complex evolutionary processes that can be manifest on some planets, and not just as the complex coding found on event horizon surface of some back holes, and,

inside some black hole.


The latter black hole stuff is just by speculation based on my geometric explorations
