Out of the ordinary

The other day, in the middle of the city, I saw a bit of a tree growing out of an old chimney on the building opposite me - extraordinary, and yet utterly ordinary.
We find beauty in the ordinary, and suddenly we realise that no thing, no person, is ordinary

- Sister Stanislaus Kennedy (From 'Gardening the Soul')

noticing the beautiful.

Apart from the obviously beautiful ,such as a Sunset,or the Moon, there are the not so easy things to see...

Not long ago I was having a (rare) session in my garden,a very basic tidy up....and I saw a little weed growing out of my wall near the ground...a beautiful little thing, but it seemed to be trying so hard to survive against all the odds.

I left it there, sent it blessings, and it thrived, and became a part of my garden....I find it lovely the way Nature always tries to express itself.

Other things are seeing birds feeding on the food I put out in a feeder for them. They come every day....they are going to need this food during the coming Winter. They are now like friends, many of them not flying away when I go out.

Blessings to all.....
