Dad, I hope you are listening,
I want to share with you.
Thank you for being so cheerful,
You really, really made me laugh!
I jumped for joy as you arrived home,
Expected some candies or fruits!
I cried as I watched you drove away,
Like a beacon light until you died.
Dad, you came back in a dream,
With your amazing smiling face!
I became rest assured and comforted,
With a new hope in my heart today.

I lost my dad all the way back in 1997, when I was 13. Nice poem! It speaks from the heart. :)
