Woodpecker

About 15 minutes ago, I glanced out of my bathroom window and saw one of these birds (Pileated woodpecker) climbing around on a dead tree trunk. They're colouring is classic, you might say. They're fascinating and amusing to watch... in certain moods, I find their motion to be pretty comical.

The video isn't anything I shot or uploaded. Just wanted anyone checking out this post to see the kind of bird I'm referring to.

Some other Youtuber uploaded this vid of a Pileated on a deck railing. As the uploader mentioned, there's a surprise ending to the vid.

Wow, those are amazing and beautiful. So cute, Lol.

We have the little woodpeckers. Tiny red head ones. They are special too. I attracted one right on my porch.

How lovely.

We have a very similar bird here, only we call it Pied or Greater-Spotted Woodpecker.
We also have a Green Woodpecker. Much more common.
