I think this is why the "Saw" series of movies' were so hard for me to watch....just....too much!

I don't understand Nick's fascination with the horror-slasher genre....but I'm not surprised because his mother.... my daughter is the same way and has an affinity for horror films

I skipped the "Saw" movies. Too much for me too.

Honestly, my favorites are the horror-comedies like "Tremors" or "Killer Clowns from Outer Space". Those are silly, stupid, and fun! Or "Little Shop of Horrors" with Rick Moranis - that one's a classic! Ellen Green - so good.

@Lucky 1 - How about Peter Jackson's first movie - "Bad Taste"? That one's a gem too. Makes me laugh just thinking about it. So silly.

I've never heard of it and if not for my grandson...wouldn't have seen Killer Klowns From outer Space which seemed more like a spoof of horror films then a real horror film to me

Killer Klowns is definitely a spoof. Just a big fun loving romp. If your grandson liked it he might like Bad Taste as well. A bit of a slow starter, and very low budget, but it builds.... The ending is ridiculous. I can't imagine it scaring anyone - it's just goofy fun.

Ok. A trilogy. I'll have to check out 'Devil's Rejects'.
